iPhone and Mac use the reminder you pick (on a Mac, untick Remove: Alerts when subscribing). Google Calendar ignores reminders in subscribed calendars, so in Google Calendar's settings, give this calendar a default notification instead.
How it works
iPhone, iPad & Mac
- Tap “Apple Calendar” on the calendar you want.
- Confirm with Subscribe — events appear in the Calendar app and update automatically.
Android (Google Calendar)
- Tap “Google Calendar” and sign in to your Google account in the browser, then tap Add.
- In the Google Calendar app, open Settings, select the new calendar and turn on Sync.
- Prefer no Google account, or faster updates? Install the free ICSx⁵ app and paste the copied link.
Outlook & others
- Use “Outlook”, or copy the link and add it as an internet / subscribed calendar.
